Capt’n Fun Beach Club, 400 Quietwater Beach Road, Pensacola Beach heads back to the ’80s today for “Hot Fun Time Machine,” an ’80s throwback party semi-inspired by a certain similarly titled movie. The party starts at 9 p.m. with free beer until 11 p.m. There will be an ’80s costume contest, and ladies dressed in ’80s gear will get in free (guys in ’80s gear get a break on cover, too). There also will be a wet T-shirt contest, “Ice a Bro” in the Sky Bar and DJ Tony C spinning the big ’80s video hits (and modern-day faves). At Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St., it’s the final preliminary round of this year’s Miss Seville Quarter competition. Ladies, if you want to get in on the action, this will be your last chance to qualify for the finals and a prize package that includes $1,000. You must be at least 21 to enter the contest, and should be prepared to model clubwear and swimwear. Show up before 9 p.m. to sign up; the competition starts at 10 p.m.
And enjoy a different drink special in every room at Seville Quarter for No Strings Attached night. Entertainment includes Jukebox Hero, The Rez, DJ D-Mixx, the Dueling Pianos and DJ Nick B.Need more ideas? Check out today's complete list of drink specials.
