GoPensacola.com Skeeball League Standings - Week 9

They're baaaa-aack!

With 11 teams in competition for week nine of GoPensacola.com Skeeball League at Play, 16 Palafox Place, the results were all too familiar: the team from Smith Chiropractic was back on top.

After finishing at a career-low third place in week 8, Smith Chiropractic rebounded with an impressive 1,150 points, made all the more impressive by the fact that bonus multipliers were turned off on the machines after the first round and yet the team was still able to roll better than 300 points per round.

The set-up: Three-person teams each roll three games, with the top score in each round being retained for the team tally. The team with the highest aggregate score at the end of the night is the weekly winner.

Points are also retained for the 12-week league championship. The highest point tally at the end of 12 weeks will win an Apple Computer prize package.

We're into the home stretch in the points series, and it seems unlikely anyone can catch Smith Chiro for bragging rights. But remember, there are weekly prizes, too. And you can always start conditioning for the next round.
