Free the Robots is the solo project of music producer Chris Alfaro, based out of Santa Ana, Calif. It started as a side project in 2003, while he was playing with other bands.
Free the Robots' music is a combination of jazz, electronic and hip-hop with progressive melodies and overwhelming drums. Alfaro’s biography describes his music as “a balance between the sounds of the past, present and future with the use of samples, controllers, and other live instruments.”
