Named a "Band to Watch" by Rolling Stone magazine, Sleeper Agent released its debut album, "Celabrasion," on Sept. 27.
The Bowling Green, Kentucky, sextet -- Tony "Tutone" Smith (guitar/vocals), Alex "Kidd" Kandel (vocals), Justin "Keyser" Wilson (drums), Lee "Grizzlee" Williams (bass) Scott "Saga" Gardner (keyboard) and Josh "Junior" Martin (guitars) -- "specializes in crafting hook-laden scuzzy garage-pop rooted in both soul and southern rock," according to the band's publicist with BB Gun Press.
The buzz on the Sleeper Agent is strong following significant airplay on satellite radio. The band is tied for No. 2 Most Added on the Mediabase Alternative Rock Chart, matching Foster The People and Death Cab For Cutie.
