Organizers with the Hangout Music Fest have announced six more bands for the May 18-20 festival on the public beach in Gulf Shores, Ala.
Added to the bill today were house DJ/producer Kaskade, popular progressive jam band Umphrey’s McGee, Americana/indie quintet Delta Spirit, female-fronted blues group Heartless Bastards, funk/acid jazz group Greyboy All Stars and Louisiana indie-pop sensations GIVERS.
The new acts join a bill headlined by Dave Matthews Band, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Jack White and featuring Skrillex, String Cheese Incident and more than 40 other acts.
Organizers told GoPensacola.com that there are still more acts to be announced for the festival.
Three-day weekend passes for the festival -- which is capped at 35,000 attendees -- were sold out weeks ago. VIP packages remain available. Details: Visit www.hangoutmusicfest.com.
