Get wet with GoPensacola.com this Sunday

UPDATE: As the Hilton Pensacola Beach Gulf Front moves to secure its pool area in anticipation of high winds, we are moving the GoPensacola.com Birthday Beach Bash to 3 p.m. Sunday, July 1. We hope to see everyone there! Party details follow.

GoPensacola.com just turned 3. That means we’re legal, in dog years. And since we’re legal, we’re ready to party!

Join us Sunday, July 1, at the Hilton Pensacola Beach Gulf Front, where we are going to make a splash with an epic pool party you won’t want to miss.

From 3-6 p.m., we’re taking over the pool deck at Latitudes Bar for music, games, fun, giveaways, prizes … and who knows what else?

Music will be provided by the return of The Get Down, the Pensacola party favorite which features some of the area’s top DJs taking turns behind the turntables and playing the tunes they want to hear – and that will get your feet moving. Among the DJs scheduled to appear are DJ Mr. Lao, DJ D-Mixx, DJ Phat Chi, DJ Carter and DJ Harlot.

We’re teaming up with our friends at DeLuna Fest to give away a pair of tickets to the HUGE Pensacola Beach party set for Sept. 21-23 and featuring Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Zac Brown Band, Florence & the Machine and more than 50 other acts. You’ve gotta be present to win, so no sneaking out early! We’ll have other prizes and giveaways throughout the day including fun games such as limbo and cornhole.

We’ll have a variety of other giveaways throughout the afternoon, as well. And we’ll be making a big announcement about the 2012 edition of our Pensacola’s Sexiest Servers contest!

As for what we’re drinking, Latitudes is rolling out the drink specials to keep the party lubricated with $10 Malibu buckets, $5 frozen drinks and $3 mixed drinks.

And it wouldn’t be a pool party without a pool! The Hilton’s sparkling blue pools will, of course, be open to all partygoers, so get set to get wet and dress in your sexiest swimwear.
