"Back and Forth," a documentary about 2012 DeLuna Fest headliners Foo Fighters, will get a free screening Wednesday at Seville Quarter. / Special to GoPensacola.com
DeLuna Fest fans will be able to get a free preview of one of the festival headliners when the Foo Fighters documentary "Back and Forth" is screened at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St.
The acclaimed film by director James Moll received a limited screening as a special event at selected theaters last year, including in Pensacola. "Back and Forth," named for a track on Foo Fighters' smash "Wasting Light" album, documents the band's 16--year history.
DeLuna Fest will sponsor a free screening of the film in anticipation of the band's appearance at the Sept. 21-23 music festival on Pensacola Beach. The evening also will feature Budweiser specials, popcorn and a chance to win a copy of the film.
Ages 18 and older are welcome at the free event.
Along with Foo Fighters, DeLuna Fest 2012 will feature Pearl Jam, Zac Brown Band, Florence & the Machine and more than 60 other bands on the shores of Casino Beach. Tickets are available at www.delunafest.com.
