For the second time in as many days, rapper DMX has postponed his scheduled appearance in Pensacola.
The rapper behind such hits as "Party Up (Up in Here)" and "X Gon' Give it to Ya" had been scheduled to appear Tuesday at Vinyl Music Hall, 2 Palafox Place. A bus breakdown in Orlando was cited as the reason for rescheduling the show for Wednesday.
Today, however, Vinyl Music Hall announced that the show would again be postponed to "sometime in the very near future." A family emergency for DMX's DJ is cited as the reason for the second postponement.
For those still looking for some fun tonight, Vinyl will again present a free concert featuring tonight's scheduled opening acts, The Mad Violinist, Body Head Bangerz with Roy Jones Jr and 2Piece, Big Bone and the Cutthroat Promotions crew. All acts performed last night as a replacement for the DMX show, as well.
Tickets are still available for the rescheduled show, and are $30 at the box office. Ages 18 and older are welcome, but there is a $5 surcharge at the door for those younger than 21. Tickets already purchased will be honored for the new date when it is announced. Those who cannot attend on the new date can obtain a refund from their point of purchase.
