Monday night, the Supersuckers will show why they’ve been called “The Greatest Rock ’n’ Roll Band in the World” as they play Vinyl Music Hall, 2 Palafox Place.

In 1992, Sub Pop Records unleashed the band’s debut album, “The Smoke of Hell,” and it has been a rugged exploration of sin and boos for the Tucson, Ariz., band ever since. While America was swimming in grunge, the Supersuckers were cranking out country-tinged rock madness in the studio and onstage.

“I’ve seen so many crazy things happen,” said frontman/bassist Eddie Spaghetti as he looked back on nearly 25 years of raucous live shows. “Everything from people getting onstage and getting naked to people getting knocked out at the show.”

When the band isn’t on the road, it’s in the studio working with music legends.

“It’s pretty mind-blowing to have worked with Willie Nelson,” Spaghetti said. “But to be honest, the guy that’s blown my mind the most is Steve Earle. The guy’s work ethic is just phenomenal and we learned more about recording in the three days that we recorded with him than we did in our entire career.”

Spaghetti is working on the band’s next album, set for release early next year. In the middle of touring and recording, Spaghetti gave credit to the person who has been his rock through the wild ride.

“I’ve got an awesome wife,” he said. “She totally supports me doing what I do for a living. She loves the lifestyle too. I couldn’t do it without a support system like that at home. She makes it possible.”

Fort Walton Beach rockers Nik Flagstar & His Dirty Mangy Dogs open the all-ages show. Tickets are $10 in advance or $13 on the day of the show, with an additional $5 charge for those younger than 21. Doors open 7:30 p.m. For details, visit www.vinylmusichall.com.

Vinyl gets Slippery

In 1989, Bon Jovi lit up Pensacola Civic Center during the New Jersey Syndicate Tour. Tonight, the next best thing to seeing “Jon Bon” and Richie Sambora play “Living on a Prayer” and “Always” will happen when Slippery When Wet — “the Ultimate Bon Jovi Tribute Band” — performs a free Gallery Night concert at Vinyl.

Keep the faith, this band means business: In 2007, Bon Jovi officially authorized Slippery When Wet to perform tribute concerts.

The show starts at 6:30 p.m., with Brooks Hubbert and Vibe Irie opening.

Raw Panda at Vinyl

Rock out and raise money for a great cause at the Raw Panda Records Showcase at Vinyl on Saturday.

“We are donating a portion of ticket sales and accepting donations for the Belmont Youth Band,” said Raw Panda Records founder Sean Peterson.

Created in 2003, The Belmont Youth Band provides instruments and classes for aspiring music students.

The concert features Timberhawk, Chainsaw Kelly, Seagull Blue and Dawbrey. Doors open at 8 p.m. for this all-ages event. Tickets are $5.

Blues at the Handlebar

Saturday, Grammy Award-winning producer and blues guitarist Larry Mitchell returns to the Handlebar, 319 N. Tarragona St. Mitchell has worked with Tracy Chapman, Billy Squier and Ric Ocasek. Texas blues band Runaway Sun and local favorites Hollowman/Badwater also will perform. Admission is $6 for ages 21 and older and $8 for those younger than 21.
