The hugely successful Hangout Music Festival will return to the public beach in Gulf Shores, Ala., the weekend of May 17-19, organizers announced this morning.
Early bird tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Dec. 1. A limited amount of 3-day general admission passes will be available at the discounted price of $189. VIP passes will be available at $799 for early birds, and Super VIP passes will be $1,249. These discounted prices come in advance of any announcements for the 2013 lineup. Additional fees may apply.
This will be the fourth year for the festival, which typically sells out its capacity of 35,000 tickets well in advance. Previous headliners have included Dave Matthews Band, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, Jack White, Paul Simon, Zac Brown Band, Widespread Panic, Trey Anastasio and John Legend. Organizers have not said when this year’s lineup will be revealed. The 2012 lineup was released in February ahead of the May festival.
