It’s shaping up to be a busy late winter at the Pensacola Bay Center, formerly the Pensacola Civic Center.

In addition to the already announced (and sold out) Jimmy Buffett concert on Feb. 5, Kid Rock announced a concert this morning, as well as a pair of co-headlining bills: one featuring Daughtry and 3 Doors Down, the other starring Shinedown and Three Days Grace.

Kid Rock comes to the Pensacola Bay Center on Feb. 20. The Detroit-based singer/rapper/songwriter, who has enjoyed success on the pop, rock, country and adult charts over the course of a more than 20 year career, will return to Pensacola as one of the first few stops on his “Rebel Soul” tour, supporting the album of the same name. The album debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard album chart last month.

Along with “All Summer Long,” Kid Rock’s biggest hits include “Cowboy,” “Picture, “Bawitdaba,” and “Only God Knows Why.” He’ll be performing with his long-time backing band, the Twisted Brown Trucker Band.

The concert will mark Kid Rock’s third appearance in the Pensacola area in just more than two years. He visited twice in 2011, for a Valentine’s Day concert at the then-Civic Center and at the Amphitheater at The Wharf in Orange Beach, Ala., on Nov. 12, 2011.

Opening acts for the show will include hard rockers Buckcherry (“Crazy Bitch,” “Sorry”) and rising outlaw country band Hellbound Glory.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Pensacola Bay Center box office, Ticketmaster outlets, or by phone at (800) 745-3000. Prices are $89.50, $59.50, $49.50 and $29.50, and additional fees may apply.

Two days later, on Feb. 22, multi-platinum rock acts Daughtry and 3 Doors Down will share the Bay Center stage in the midst of the second leg of their co-headlining tour.

Daughtry returns to Pensacola for the first time since performing as one of the headliners at the inaugural DeLuna Fest in October 2010. The band, which is fronted by Chris Daughtry, has topped the adult charts four times with hits “Home,” “It’s Not Over,” “Feels Like Tonight” and “No Surprise,” as well as charting on the pop, alternative and mainstream Hot 100 charts. Its latest album, “Break the Spell,” debuted at No. 8 last year.

Tourmates 3 Doors Down are Gulf Coast favorites, hailing from nearby Escatawpa, Miss., roughly midway between Mobile and Biloxi. Since breaking through to national attention with the hit “Kryptonite” in 2000, the band has scored hits on the rock, alternative, adult and mainstream Hot 100 charts with such songs as “It’s Not My Time,” “Let Me Go,” “Here Without You” and “When I’m Gone.” Its latest album, “Time of My Life,” debuted at No. 3 last year; the band also released its first greatest hits collection last month.

Ticket prices and on-sale information were not immediately available.

Finally, platinum-selling rock bands Three Days Grace and Shinedown will share the Bay Center stage on March 14, according to Three Days Grace’s website.

Canadian rockers Three Days Grace are riding another wave of success following the October No. 4 debut of the band’s fourth album, “Transit of Venus.” With a huge audience on mainstream rock radio, the band has notched seven No. 1 singles on the mainstream rock chart, including “Just Like You,” “Animal I Have Become,” “Pain,” “Never Too Late” and the current “Chalk Outline.” The band has also charted on the alternative, adult and mainstream Hot 100 charts.

Jacksonville hard rockers Shinedown have been just as successful on rock radio, charting eight No. 1 hits on the mainstream rock chart, including “Second Chance,” “Save Me,” “Sound of Madness” and “Unity.” The band has also charted on the adult, alternative and Hot 100 charts, and its most recent album, “Amaryllis,” debuted at No. 4 in March.

Long-running nu-metal band P.O.D. (“Youth of the Nation,” “Alive,” “Lost in Forever”) will open the show. According to Three Days Grace’s website, tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Dec. 21. Prices were not immediately available.
